I have found so many articles that could be traced to another or more than 4 article submission including ezine and articledashboard. I thought Google is penalizing sites for duplication but what about this practice? Any idea?
You can arive at one of two conclusions: 1. Google only counts 2 bodies of text on the same domain as duplicate content. Duplicate content on various domains google doesn't care about. 2. The Duplicate Content rule is a myth.
That's your answer right there! Example: Imagine that somebody came up with the cure for cancer and wrote an article about it. I guarantee that there would be Thousands (If not Millions) of sites that would post that exact same article... do you think that all those sites would get PENALIZED... of course NOT!
I think it's pretty clear that there is no duplicate content 'penalty' but you can obviously see that there is a filter and google even gives you a method to search results without that filter.
you dont get any penalty for duplicate content on 3rd party sites. how much seo benefit you will get depends on where you submit and how often you submit but the traffic itself is worth submitting to as many article sites as possible.
Spot on. Across many high profile topics or popular subjects there will be repeat articles / papers. The content will be repeated across multiple domains. Penalty - no.
As long as the user who originally wrote the artcile get the credit and cache from Google i dont think he/she will care. If my articles were across the internet on different sites all i would want is some kudos and a link back to my site.
Does it mean that if webmaster copies a popular article, this article won't bring it benefits and also will be harmless?
