Argh, SEO Expert Help? My site dissapeared from google for a month now.

if I search the domain name on google I Won't find my site, but rathar find people talking about my site. If my site was JohnWayneCompany.com , when I search "johnwaynecompany" on google, my site wont' be ANYWHERE in the listings. But if I search the full url example: johnwaynecompany.com with the TLD, you can find it. I don't rank for any keywords really. I used to rank for a few decent ones. I have a sitemap with google webmaster tools. Any pro got any recommendations?

If it means anything, The site is an adult site.

edit: also, Same exact thing on MSN / YAHOO. My site is nowhere to be found... Only when you put .com you can find it.

 

Sounds like a penalty to me. I know you aren't a directory but this page is relevant.

 

Exact same problem as that link. I'm not a directory, but the problem of not ranking applies almost identically to my situation. It's only when you include the TLD in the search (.com) I can find my site. I actually had some keyword stuffing and spammy <title> tag, but I Did Fix it now though. Anyone know how long these "penalties" last? Anything I can do to speed things up make them go away?

 

Are you sure that is all? It must have been through the roof spammy. I would have expected this from paid links, cloaking, hidden text, tons of new links in bad neighborhood really fast...something like that.

All you can do is try to identify if you broke tos or not. If you did submit a request for re-inclusion with a detailed explanation of the remedies to the tos violation. You can do this but for a penalty likely to not help. If you didn't break tos ask them how you can find out what went wrong. (they won't help but it takes little time and costs nothing)

 

There were no paid links, no cloaking, no hidden texts, TOns of new links? Not likely. It was a bit spammy though, but not through the roof like some sites do. Bad neighborhood? I Did submit to a lot of adult link dumps... Re inclusion wouldn't work, would it? I'm already in the index.. Just penalized. And who would I contact for information on what I did wrong? An email would be helpful . I Don't expect a reply, but i'll send an email anyway.
