Sorry, but i'd much rather have Jolean Lescott at the back than Wes 'Orange' Brown. I like SWP but think Beckham inspired us to bring it back to 2-2. Bridge was shocking and should never get an England call-up again lol Been hearing on the TV and in the press that Mourinho is the who the majority of fans want, but heard a few saying they would want Alan Shearer. Hopefully those who want Shearer in are joking, as he has no managerial expreience whatsoever and would be more risky than when we appointed McClown. I don't care anymore about who England bring in, i'm sticking to supporting my club over the country
I had a doubt that england will either end up drawing with croatia or might lose thats why I didn't stake my money on this match and went for Germany vs Wales match. Croatia had beaten England in Euro 2004 and England was out of the tournament
Eh? We beat Croatia in 2004, 4-2 if memory serves. We didn't go out of the 2004 tournament until the quarter-finals when we lost on penalties. *Sigh* Those were the days.
I think most of us would choose club over country, but coming from a Grimsby fan that's pretty serious!
LOL About that 2004 quarter final... It was a sweet game wasn't it? Specially because we won it!! Great clashes in the history of european football between Portugal and England
Grimsby players at the minute don't show much passion in playing for the club, but they show more than any player that went out onto the Wembley pitch yesterday!
Maybe you're right, but still great matches to watch. The kind every fan loves. And don't forget the only time we could've been world champions, lost in the semi's to your Sir Bobby team....... and our 's was a dream team
England is good at some things... We are good at binge drinking, fighting and getting teenagers pregnant
To put it simply England didn't deserve to go through. Not just from last nights result but over the whole qualifying campaign. I used to love watching England games but now it's just such a disappointment these days We need a new manager who has the gut's to make really big decisions and make some radical changes. I don't think half the players who played last night deserve there place in the side again. Other than Peter Crouch and Becks, when he came on, there was just no effort or passion on display anywhere. I think it will do us good in the long run not to qualify for the Euro's. Perhaps the kick up the arse the players needed.
