Hey you're from the UK. I really don't believe anything is, or ever was at Area 51, but I think somethign happened at that US base in England many years ago.

I think it happened back in the 80s or something, not sure I remember when. But something fell from the sky and caused a lot of radiation in the area it fell (in a forest outside the base).

    That always had me wondering.

    I agree....it's "Area 52" they don't want you to know about ;)

why would they have so much security and shoot people for 'peeing on the fence' if it didn't have something 'juicy'

pretty big 'front' if you ask me

just to be safe I'm going to dust off the AL foil hats in storage...

Area 51 is an example of why the United States is failing as a country. The reason for this is because of the government's secrecy surrounding the base. I honestly don't know what they are doing there, and If I did, I would probably be barred from talking about upon fear of death. Given the fact you'll can be shot on site, I can presume it is a high end form of technology that the government doesn't want the people to know about.

The thing that pisses me off about Area 51 is that my damn tax dollars pays for its existence, and yet I have no clue what is going on there. Area 51 is an example of why I firmly believe the United States is not a democracy, but a plutocratic system. Rich powerful government officials use tax dollars for black projects, and even though the Constitution says that the government is suppose to disclose information about, they don't.

But what else is new? The government never follows the Constitution anyway. The government is quick to keep advanced technology secret from the public, but let them catch you in the garage working on your own energy project.

I actually have reason to believe that this may not always be the case. I think that certain elements within the US government are responsible for what I will call "technology distribution." This means they control what technology we are allowed to buy, and then they hide certain forms of technology that they do not want us to have access to.

It makes logical sense. The German technology that was captured after World War 2 by Operation Paperclip has never been fully disclosed to the public. Sixty years after the fact, the info remains classified. This makes me angry. The reason for this is because I know these bastards are hiding alternative energy or antigravity technology, but they are hogging it for themselves.

Within the next hundred years, I firmly believe a cure for aging will be found, if it has already not been. However, sense the NWO calls for population reduction, it will never be made available to the general public. I think this is how tech distribution goes:

    1. First some top secret laboratory makes an astounding scientific discovery.

    2. A committee gets together to decide how it should be used. In most cases, the military will always get it first, and a review will be conducted to look at the potential applications of the technology.

    3. After the military has used the technology for a certain period of time, the government will decide if it should be given to the public. If it is, the technology will be passed along to corporations who will sell it as "new gadgets." However, it is not new, because the military has used it for decades. When this happens, the military will in most cases have moved onto something bigger and better.

    4. The technology finally reaches the public. The corps sell it at a high cost, and consumers buy it, foolishly thinking they have the "latest technology." However, they are wrong. I think this is how cell phones appeared. Some technology, like nuclear, is never given to the general public.
