Are your affiliate ads being removed by ad blockers?

Since my CJ ads disappear when viewed from my office, I did some research and found lots of complaints about affiliate ads (not just CJ) being removed by ad blockers. Norton internet security, spybot, and many SW used by corporates will do this. However, all the heated discussions I found were from 2005 - 2006. So I'm wondering if this is still a common problem, or just my links setting are wrong.

Do you know of a way to get around this?

Note that all text links are fine, only banners are having problems, regardless of HTML or Javascript. No, I do not use popup or popdown, just plain banners.

Nobody? Is it because people don't have this problem, or are not aware that their affiliate ads may have been blocked and their visitors don't even see them?

If you have a host, redirect the link by using the PHP method, rehost the image with Flickr or Photobucket. This should solve the problem.

Thanks, that seems to be the conclusion and a workable solution I found from other sources too. The only thing is that most of my advertisers don't allow redirects, so I'm not sure if CJ treat this in the same manner as they deal with anchor text changes. Any experience?
