Whats funny is in the beggining we always went to one kids house and he only had one advantage.

Inevitably, some kid would try sneaking the turbo on and go midevil on someone

(Man was I a geek)

Man the advantage was HUGE. I remember if you kept it on your lap it took up the whole lap area. I think kids were losing legs due to lack of circulation.

Lately I’ve been in a whole retro mood. My girlfriend is a few years younger then I am so I’ve been teaching her quite a bit of things.

Recently we’ve watched movies like Red Heat, American Ninja, Top Secret, Road House, Red Dawn, Blood Sport, the original Star Wars, The 3 Amigos, the Wizard, The
Warriors, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Over the Top, and a whole lot more.

We’ve watched cartoons like Thundercats, He-man, Transformers, and Voltron.

We’ve listened to music like Guns n Roses and 2NU.

I’ve beaten her on a variety of games on a lot of different platforms such as Street Fighter and Tecmo Bowl.

Basically, I just want to be able to use any pop culture reference and not have to explain it.

Some classics listed there Hodge...my favorite would have to be, Over the Top. You don't get much better than Sylvester Stallone as a truck driver/arm wrestler. I still want to get one of those machines for my Tahoe.

 

Except how can you watch that again after seeing "Stop, or my mom will Shoot"

And remember having to blow into the shitty cartridges because they wouldn't work? I actually had to wedge stuff in there w/ the game sometimes.
