yfs1, how did my post get in before yours? I know I'm fast but answering posts before theyre made is a first for me
Well, I waited to see if anyone more than SE would guess but they didn't so I posted the answer. You answered at the same time so it looked weird since you said 85 and I had already revealed the answer. I deleted my post and reposted after you but then you quoted my deleted post so it got all messed up. Thats what I get
The best I could come up with was some theory of the time for the post being set by my local computer and that posts were sorted by that time (which I then ruled out as I know pretty well that that's impossible). Thanks for descrewing my head (while no thanks for screwing it up in the first place )
I was just about to post about that! I had a pong and breakout game. I actually remember seeing my first ever computer game it was pong and it was installed in our local supermarket...I must have been about 12 or 13 and now I've shown my age
Lol - Believe me when I say I want no part of that Chachi - Whats the bottle cap trick- I never heard of that one
Basically, you fold over a bottle cap, smooth side out. Then, grasping it between the thumb and forefinger, you shuffle it back and forth over the A and B buttons. Boom, you are { insert your favorite track star here }.
In all my years I never heard of that nor did I come up with it on my own. I can't believe I never thought of it
A friend of mine had a joystick with a "stick part" heavy enough so that when holding the base of the joystick in your hand you could get a pendulum motion going that was just perfect for those types of games (winter games, summer games, etc). Of course not for Nintendo but the C64.
Let me tell you something, if you had put a bottle cap on your finger to play against one of us, the video game would have been the least of your worries. We were some serious gamers in the early days.
lol. Well, I will say this, you probably would have beat me at track and field. But, only because I would have been laughing at your punk ass while you were running on that stupid mat!
Pretty much it worked like the regular Nintendo pad. It had all the buttons on it. With a few games, you were supposed to be able to use the actual glove but it never worked right.
