Squidoo is amazing. Dr.Mani a famous IMer has a great product on this. If you want it, I will digg out the link.

Yep, Squidoo is a good place that can help you to promote your business and the most important thing is that Google likes Squidoo.

On the other hand there are many ways to advertise your business, you have to try and test them to know what really works for you.

Usfreeads seems to have faded from favor but Squidoo is amazing. Craigslist has always been a bust for me despite all of my efforts. I am concentrating on- in order: Squidoo, ezine@rticles and USfreeads.

Do USfreeads allow the affiliate links through the free membership? I think we need to have a platinum membership with that.

Doing well with Ezinearticles. Have yet to try squidoo. USfreeads seems to have lost its flare from what I have been reading lately.

create a lens at squidoo with your affiliate links for a some related products and search engines will crawl that page and show it in search results.
Like this, you can get free targeted traffic to your affiliate links and thus make sales!

Is there an advantage to using Squidoo over putting that content on your own blog?

Would it be bad to put the same article on both?

I build a squidoo page and then write articles and submit to ezinearticles that link to my squidoo page. The squidoo page gets listed in no time (like 3 days) and the articles get listed in about the same amount of time.

    It's a no-brainer.

The trick is just doing enough WORK to get enough MONEY to get FINANCIALLY INDEPENDENT.

The problem is that all of us, including me, prefers to read forums than to pump out articles.

It depends upon your author status. It may take from 24 hours to 2 days. A maximum of 4 days during weekends.

Depends on your account level. The basic level usually gets approved in 3 - 4 days.
