I was.. i started out in october and made a bundle in a month, then bid prices shot up and sales dropped. About 5 times I sold almost $300 in one day from $30 of advertising. I never even used landing pages. That was my initial experience with clickbank and affiliate marketing (and quite a good one I must say). You guys using landing pages?
Facebook was good when nobody knew about them and cpc was like a cent. Now they're 10 - 50 cents and conversion rates for most products I've tested (targeting specific age groups exclusively) aren't exactly good enough to make up for the cost!
Low conversion rates, higher cpc and more and more restrictions what you can do or not are the main characteristics of facebook ads. I am not using it anymore.
Even though the CPM has increased, I'm still making a bit of money off it. Doesn't convert all that great, but still gets me a few sales a day.
Just looked at my report and it seems like tonight I made 4 conversions from facebook in one of my affiliate programs. I think I'll keep on trying it
I didn't know that there was a Facebook advertising affiliate program. I am going to have to do some research on it.
