Thanks noobpreneur... ... it's pretty hard, but all you need is an understanding partner I guess Arcanus, too bad to hear that... but for one thing, I would say that you need to look at what is required immediately to sustain life. Most people like Darren Rowse (problogger.net) started off as a part-time blogger before he turned it into a full-time job; and now he earns a living off it quite nicely. There is also a guy I know personally who started his website for a meagre $10, but he earns about $12500 per month today - and that's just pocket money for him now, because he has ventured into other businesses as well. Don't want to pull your hopes sky high, but just wanted to tell you that this thing takes time - but surely, we'll all get there and beyond with some patience.
sax, thanks. I've already got my short and long term goals. I'm going to start with 1 blog and my portfolio site, with expansion into other projects over time. Right now if i can make 500-$1000 week from web design, that would be great. While i'm doing that i'll build up a blog and branch out from there. oh and no you haven't put my hopes sky high I aim high enough myself LOL. I don't expect a 6 figure income overnight, but my goal is to reach that this time next year. LOL The key thing i'm struggling with is actioning myself. It's so easy to spend all the time reading and researching. Although i am proud to say today that i have finished designing a wordpress theme ready to be coded. While it doesn't feel like much progress at least it is some. If only i could figure out how to narrow the niche i'm thinking of writing about..
