Hi guys, I wonder, are any of you guys use a team of writers for your blog? If so, please share what you give them in return - shared profit, enhanced reputation, or others. Cheers!
Yes I have me and one other person working on my blog. It is good to have a writing style change on your blog or else it gets boring....atleast in my opinion.
I have 3 niche blogs but I write all the articles, both to be posted on the blogs and those going onto article directories, Squdioo and Hubpages.
Not really, but I bought some articles from DP members that I use on my blog, squidoo or article directories.
I have a buddy help me on one site. We split profits. It works out pretty well, because the blog always ends up having fresh content. When one person doesn't feel like writing, the other person can.
Thanks for the respond, guys! Some fine comment here. I particularly interested in those that share the blog writing with other persons - are you related (friends, family) or professionally connected, i.e. with someone who is a total stranger sharing the same vision as yours?
Most of the people I have writing for me approached me about it. They are paid but I also try and help them out in other ways when I can
I have one guy who posts every so often...he gets exposure...I do have to edit his stuff substantially when I get it though...I wonder what do you guys pay for a post?
Right now I only run my personal blog, so obviously having a team for a personal blog doesn't make sense. However, I am developing a site where I will be wanting to put together a small team or writers later on. As what they get paid, it depends on our revenue.
@ System0 - How do you 'promote' your service? @ Loco.M - Great! Do you offer the opportunities, or do you receive applications from them? @ shermancox - I've paid $5 per post - I never done that again, though. @ Alex Fraiser - Good point. About the shared revenue, how do you plan to share it - based on the total of post, the total of readers, or else? @ Sam 735 - That's right, although in the future, you would eventually need someone else to write - particularly if you have other blog projects, IMO. @ pipes -
I'm in the process right now setting up my first paid hosting blog(I gave up on freehosting). Initially I'll be writing all the posts, but in future I'll probably take on a few permanent posters. very interesting questions..i'll keep my eye on this one..and i might jump in again.. *wanders off to finish what i'm doing*..
Hi, I am having three writers. They have been paid @$2 per post. Each of them will write 15 posts per month... Apart from them, I'll write few posts...
