I would think any serious webmaster would have more than one computer. Heck its just a hobby for me and I have 3. Win 7 and XP OS. Why would you get rid of a computer with XP? Most are not worth much anyway. May as well keep the old XP for backup. I am using XP right now on an old laptop I drag around at work. Its a good OS as far as I am concerned.
My parents are still using Windows XP on a 8 year old desktop. I use it for VMWARE myself but run Windows 7. No plans on upgrading to 8 for now.
I am using Windows 7 Operating system, but have used XP for many years. If you have low system configuration, than XP is highly recommended and it does not have any issues!
Yup. Still on XP. I'm using the old duo core CPU's. Eventually when the current high-end model cpus (i7's) become "old" somewhere 2016+ I'll use those, and probably use windows 7 extensively until windows 10-11 comes out.
I'm still running Windows XP on an old laptop. Pointless upgrading it to Vista or 7 as it doesn't have enough resources for them. Got Windows 7 on my desktop though.
Nothing wrong win xp pro infact its my OS of choice it may well be old but its ultra reliable and i have it installed on a few new machines its that good.
I have recently upgraded to Windows 7 and it is much better than windows XP. No plan to upgrade to windows 8
I still use window XP because in this i can use many software's and it is faster also as compare to window7. In window7 it does't support many software's.
Windows 7 for me, but I agree that XP was hard to let go of -- mainly because I was just so familiar with it. But I like 7 due the fact that I can get certain downloads that XP wouldn't let me have -- due to a seemingly "outdated" OS. At least, LOL, I started feeling like I was using a dinosaur with XP. So I'm good with Windows 7 Pro.
Yes, I still use WindowsXP. If I want to use Windows 7 it's stored on a save partition as all of my OS are including Linux.
I'm using Win 7 Ultimate, but actually i love Win XP so much because it's more stable and less problem than Win Vista and 7. I wonder why Microsoft couldn't make better OS after XP. What do you think?
