I am still using XP in my PC. i am using windows7 also in my laptop

 

Windows 7. Pretty happy with it. Looking forward to Windows 8 coming out this year, but I won't rush to switchover just yet.

 

I am running W7 now and I can say that I am pretty happy with them but the only thing that I don’t like is that some processes are running automatically

 

w7 is great, but my home computer is weak. so my choice is still xp! haha : )

Yes, its one of the Best. Although I don't like the look of XP and thus using a Vista theme pack.

Install the Windows XP 64bit edition. Tried on i7 without no hiccup.

 

For all windows users: what is your opinion on compatibility? Do you think that, when you send a document to someone without knowing what computer system they use, it is best to use for example .doc instead of .docx?

Am I wrong or is it true that everybody can read the old versions? thanks for telling me...

 

.doc or .docx got nothing to do with Window$ OS. Its Micro$oft Office suite.

The best is always sent in a .doc format as well as .Pdf

 

you can always install Virtual Machine in your Windoze 7. Not an issue. Best is VirtualBox from Oracle.

Hi i am running xp and Pardus ( a linux distribution) on my old computer

 

Using Vista at work and 7 at home. I too miss the simplicity and familiarity I felt when using XP.

 

I actually switched from XP to Win7 very recently.

 

The best is .odt . Standards based and free to anyone to use. Available on all word processors except, of course, Word which charges you an arm and a leg.

 

now i am not use windows xp, but use 7. because windows 7 is easier in the search for the files in it at the star menu

 

I still use windows XP why? because my brother told me so -_- how lame isn't it? But he told me it's for my own good. He said he can't do the reformat thingy with my laptop because he said windows XP is lighter than windows 7. So i'm here going to stick with my windows XP -_____- But if I am going to have my new laptop I'm looking forward to use the windows 8 already. I think it's cooler than windows 7 Tahahaha!
