I thought wiki had pretty good controls in place? It is possible to alter something, but as I've heard, they have mechanisms in place to revert those changes back very quickly.

I believe some of this came about as a result of people trying to edit results and spam links to their sites. In addition, don't most topics usually have a group of people responsible for editing? I've seen some "behind the scenes" discussion amongst editors arguing about what to include and what not to include.

CIA's also can't give you a full fact. Sometime the fact that CIA's provides are meant to be one sided. Not on both parties.

CIA's always manipulated data or information. That's what happen in Iraq where there is no (I mean NO) Weapon Of Mass Destruction out there as being inspected by IAEA and UN Teams. Only on CIA's data you can found that Iraq have a massive WMD.

Your statement is not factually correct. Please do some research on that topic before continuing.

Nabih Berri, the Lebanese parliamentary speaker, has now stated that Lebanon will not accept any cease-fire agreement that does not include a Lebanese government plan calling for an immediate cease-fire and withdrawal of Israeli troops.

"Lebanon, all of Lebanon, rejects any talks and or any draft resolution that does not include the seven-point government framework."

In doing this, he rejected the joint U.S.-French U.N. cease-fire resolution.

The Lebanese aren't even in this war -- except as targets. Their military capabilities are so pathetic that they are not even considered combatants. And yet they are rejecting a potential cease-fire? Are they not tired of being targets?

You just can't make this stuff up.

It's sad that a government has such a low disregard for the lives of it's own citizens.

It seems that they hate the Jews more than they love themselves.

Considering the Lebanese are the most educated and western oriented of all Arab states, you can understand how bad the situation is in the middle east.

Meaning? They haven't turned their backs on the people who built schools, hospitals, and gave them aid when they needed it?

Some of you don't have any idea what Hezbullah has been doing OTHER than it's actions against Israel. Maybe if you sought to educate yourself a little, you might find you better understand the situations going on.

Yup.. you're right. Sometimes we are blind when it come to anything religious or nationalities. BTW eventhough I'm neither an Arab's nor Jews, I just like them to be cool down and get a peace treaty.

And please, US should step out from this conflict. Right now the US is more Israel than the Israel ifself.

He said that if a terrorist organization who blow up busses, send suicide bombers and shots missiles into cities invests in building a school or two they become the good citizens of the world.

Here's an idea, lets send 10-20 nukes into Iran and Syria than go build a few schools and were all clear.

It'd actually say that Dubai/UAE is, having traveled around a lot of the Middle East the Emirates is the most westernised by far.

Dubai/UAE are the most advanced, no doubt. But as far culture and liberal thinking (in the non political sense) is concerned Lebanon is far ahead.
