I'm wondering what the costs per click for your adwords campaings will be with so much competition! :O Ever since I read about the guy who made $$$$ per hour last year on this day, I wanted to try this out but I'm a little scared - PPC is a tricky business and I'm not experienced at all with it so I don't want to loose money. What do you think would be the best approach from a newbie's POV to this valentines 'madness' ?
Here's what I think on the matter- http://www.afftoolbox.com/2008/01/10/spinning-offers-for-valentines-day/
Start now...Seriously, Valentine's is really a 1 or 2 day event in the affiliate marketing world. You need to have all of your ducks in a row when the time comes, because it'll come and go before you know what hit you. Start as soon as possible and think outside of the box
Hmm thanks guys - I might not be able to take full advantage of this year's Valentines day. I have lots of important exams until the end of January (A2s) and that doesn't leave me much time to sort out a website, do research and build some CPC ads unfortunately .
Hey... around what day do you guys typically start pushing your Valentine's Day offer? A couple weeks before the big V-Day?
I am going to skip it this year, sure there is tons to be made but that means there is also tons to lose. Ill keep slow and steady for now and jump into the battle next year.
Had a bunch of orders for Valentines eCards and flowers designs. Valentines should do well for a bunch of people I'm running my own campaigns as well.
You know I said I was going to skip it but it seems to have found me anyway. Seems everyone is looking for a date this Valentines day. Oh well.
