It seems that there has been a huge increase in the amount of affiliate marketers here recently. The big dogs (Shoemoney, John Chow, Dr_Zho, etc.) are all in the affiliate marketing business even though most of their advice relates to ecommerce (my primary business model) as well. I'm thinking about making a transition over the affiliate marketing for a variety of reasons. Mainly because it seems that so many are successful at it. However, I'm curious, how many really are making money? Please, be honest. Just use the poll it is anonymous, but feel free to respond how you wish!

I am happy, in my first month I earned 2000$ in affiliate marketing (very few people in this forum know about it).
My sites adsense still accounts 82% vs. Affiliate 18% of income which I look at as a problem because that would mean someone is profiting more than me off the adsense clicks? am I wrong?

Affiliates Marketing is of course is an very popular market and you can earn a huge amount of money there if you do it correctly, nevertheless I am against monolithic businesses, therefore I suggest using a combination of various affiliates sites, ads on your site and selling your own products to generate a stabilized income.
To me it seems as if the "Winner takes it all" in this business. A few people make a huge amount of money and a huge number of people make almost nothing and spend a lot of time on that. I profit from my affiliates business, but I don´t want to calculate my hourly wage.

i think it is becoming easier and easier to make money in affiliate marketing. almost any one can do it was far as i see it but the hardest part is knowing no one will do it for you. you have to do it all yourself and learn by yourself don't buy ebooks all info is here. read all threads in this forum and put them together to make your own strategy for making $$$
