I'm in the process of buying a new Smartphone. Wondering what others are doing as everyone is getting smartphones these days. What of the newest Smartphones would you buy? what phone manufacturer do you like the best? What Cell Phone OS do you like best? What Mobile carrier do you use? Will you wait and hope for a new phone over the holidays? What do you think of being synced to the Internet 24/7?
No, I am not planning as I already have one. But you should buy a phone with a big screen having atleast 5mp camera with flash and with built in GPS, 3G and Wifi.
I'm a bit tired to answer all your questions but right now the smartphone that I'm most interested in owning is the HTC Desire HD, which I think is one of the best touch screen phones out in the market
I picked up the HTC Evo for my wife a few months ago. I'm a fan of the Android OS, and I think HTC makes the best Android based handsets. I'm on Sprint, which I am pretty happy with, but hopefully they will add 4G coverage to my area soon. I need to get a new phone for myself too, but that probably won't happen until next year. I also want the Android tablet, but that's another story...
For us ... I think these are the basic things which we should look - # 3G Supported (So that we can surf fast) # Touch Screen (To surf easily) # Qwetry Key pad - prefer sliding one (To type easily) # Wi Fi (So that we can access easily) # Office Edit (To edit the details) # Taking notes (You never know when you can have great ideas) # Voice recorder (To record your ideas when you do not want to type) So with that I think only two phone come to my mind - Xperiax 10 minipro - http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/products/mobilephones/overview/xperiax10minipro?cc=in&lc=en Nokia C6 - http://www.nokia.co.in/find-products/products/nokia-c6-00 Guys if you have any suggestion or advice or any further phone recommendations please tell us ... please keep above mentioned requirements in mind
Wow, I was just checking out HTC Evo on Amazon and it has awesome features. A 4G android device with an 8 megapixel camera if I'm not wrong. Would love to see a review from you

What of the newest Smartphones would you buy? Three way tie between HTC Desire Z, BB Torch, HTC HD7 what phone manufacturer do you like the best? HTC What Cell Phone OS do you like best? AndroidOS -- Although I like them all Will you wait and hope for a new phone over the holidays? Most likely What do you think of being synced to the Internet 24/7? I think it's great to have the internet at my fingertips I think the most important question you need to ask yourself when deciding on a smartphone is which OS do you want to be on. Once you decided on that, there will be many amazing phones for you to choose from.

smartphones break so easily, i have given up on smartphones, now i use a motorola cellphone that even a chimpanzee can't break and i use a notebook in my pants pocket for everything else
i still have the Nokia 1100 cellphone don't use it though. Well if you know on how to handle a smart phone then i am pretty sure it won't break so easily. [NO OFFENSE]
$80 for a new or refurb with insurance, so i treat my droid x worse than my cheap cell (surprisingly still works).
