I was going to get involved in this thread... until I read all the personal attacks...

 

They really aren't all that personal, and I think everyone who has posted in it so far would agree. Just like to beat the crap out of each other. All in good fun, but I don't think anyone will attack you unless they know you already.

If there is a G-d that would burn people for all eternity, what is heaven and what is hell? Would it be heaven to go up to the clouds while G-d is having your family and loved ones burning and being tortured forever? If G-d created us with our weakness, and created someone to be skeptical, how could there be a punishment to burn in hell? Wouldn't that make G-d an evil entity? What about all the violence G-d recommends in bible? Is G-d evil? Human parents would never want their children to burn forever, are they more ethical than G-d? I read a thread in general chat that has me wondering. This christian wrote about the end of times. He said first of all, the christians will be taken up to heaven. Then, jesus will come and rule the world for 1000 years. After that, the world will be destroyed. Do you think that is true?

 

What would you call this life: heaven or hell? There is no in-between, it has to be heaven or hell.

Life on earth is not all good or all bad, it is a mixture. Anyone that thinks life on earth is hell, should probably try to make things better.
