You made some nice mods to your college website since the last time i checked it. Maybe add a forum as well.

Yes thats a pretty insane video by John Reese.

He has certainly done something right to be pulling that sort of cash in just 1 year. Certainly enough to give me a kick in the butt.

This is certainly one of the better motivational/tips threads I've read here in a while

 

I know websites that are PR10 and they sell links. Although they are very picky about the links they display on their wesbite. They only allow Webmaster Related websites. They charge somewhere mid to low x,xxx per month for link on their wesbite. I never thought of spending that much amount on one link, but i will definetely try them one day.

Coming back to the topic, I think this guy is doing great. But there are so many other guys who are making much more than that, they just dont create a visual report like this one.

Everyone should get inspired to work towards these huge figures.

 

Interesting. There aren't many PR10 sites. Here's a list.

 

I'm not sure why everyone is fighting the idea that high PR links are helpful. We're not really talking Adsense (more like SEO) but I think it's fairly clear that good SERPs = more traffic and more traffic =more money. High PR links are one way of getting both traffic (from the link itself) and SERPs (a powerful vote, etc.).

It really is about traffic. My sites work the same way now that they did 2 years ago, but then I made a dollar a day and now I'm making a lot more because I have more traffic.

 

Most people forget that these high earner have site that generate high paying adsense ads... which does not work if you have an existing site that only generates lower paying ads...

Both my site have huge traffic.. but my adsense ads are low paying

So all I can hope for is increasing my traffic even more...

I checked one website on that list, and its not there. And i know it is PR10. I dont think that list is complete.

As someone said there, this sort of thing happens all the time. Its just that most people making 500k+ a year are not broadcasting it like this John fellow.

He makes it sound all so easy, however if you really look into it, he says he did this in 120 days of work, and only spent $3000 on articles and has several hundred websites.

That would either mean he's using automated methods or the websites are VERY small (1 page each).

I'm not doubting the guy, I'm just not buying into the way he makes it sound so easy and that you can do all this just by writing a few articles yourself everyday.

 

The way to earn more money is SEO + SERP's + AD OPTIMIZATION . Other stuff is all bs. Well if you have a unique content web site and you have optimized it for both search engines and adsense, also if you bought links from pr 5 6 7 pages, success is on the way. No more explanation for this i guess. Just have to wait and add content,develop,buy links,add content,develop,buy links ....

 

That's an amazing achievement for 12 months worth of work....

This whole 'write tons of content' that a lot of gurus sprew is just stupid. Perhaps they just want all the high PR links to themselves. When I started Adsense I made a 400 page site of compiled content. After 5 months that site was only earning $.4 a day or something. I added a Pr 6 link to it and that figure surged to $2.6.

I have a one page site I put up just 5 days ago that is now making $7/day. Only about 500 words of content or so. No need to get thousands of pags of content when one page will do.

Im wondering what goes on in his newsletter/email list.
Its made out to be some exclusive club, but at $100/month you'd hope he's really sharing some secrets to get your money's worth out of that.

 

And do you attribute the success of your new site mainly to the high pr link you have sent to it?
