well it's something i've been really into lately. it's really simple and they sell well. i'm also into recycling old books and papers that don't need to be thrown away into making them pin-back buttons. and in the furute i hope to own a machine to bind recycled book covers with recycled white paper to make journals. and also i'm trying to get into using old plastic bags [like the grocery ones] into bracelets! its all really fun too!
I recycle all bottles, newspapers etc and I have finally started using those energy saver lights. But I would like to be greener. We have taken our environment for granted that its really about time we all did something. Every bit helps. Actually its World Environment Day tomorrow, 5th June. So lets all try to be greener!
I sold my gas guzzling van and bought a car that gets 3 times the gas mileage. I need a car because my work takes me 4 hours from home and there is no other mode of transportation. We do some recycling around the house wherever possible.
That post I promised on green energy credits is live. Check this one if you want to know about hosts who use energy credits to go green. I'll be covering this topic extensively, as it is absolutely huge. Many countries are mandating carbon offsets and emission reduction, so this is going to be a hot topic over the next few years. It's a great way to finance the development of Earth-friendly power without burying the budget under set-up costs.
