As most of us agree -- PR is the main THING that drives the directory market. And we don't have much time left for the July-August PR (toolabr EXPORT).

My POLL is very clear --are you happy with the promotion you did for your directory so far?

For me -- I would have loved to have only one quality PR7 ( instead of 5 PR6 )backlinks for my secret-new-yet-to -announce directory. I had to put all my resources behind my existing directories --as they are OLD and I must improve them.

Im happy. The work I did in a month 1/2 should get me a PR6.

But theres always room for improvement and Im not expecting anything immediate. More of a long term goal.

I think it's an ongoing project and try to look further than the next update. I've recently been re-evaluating all of my subscriptions and have cancelled a few sitewides mainly because the sites have too many of them. I'm looking for replacements on sites with clear terms on their advertising conditions.

Not yet from search engines, but, I am now begining seo on this re directory,

Can only focus on 1 at a time , now its the turn of the real estate directory.

Actually, without saying too much, I am quite familiar with real estate seo, So I believe I can make it fly in the SERPs, time will tell :)

Mind you, it gets a continous trickle of visitors, 10 uniques a day with zero promotion

Yes, very. I didn't get to experience last update so I'm anxious to see whats in store for me and Fourfind.

Over 100,000+ Backlinks in Yahoo and many PR5 & PR6 directories have less backlinks than Fourfind does.

    We shall see. :)

Directory owners should never be happy, its just like any other type of business its continous progression and improvement

So we are definitely NOT HAPPY with our promotion to date.

Have we promoted strongly with maintained promotion and marketing YES

    Is there more to come?

    You Bet There Is :)
