For those who dosnt know the new rule, check it here http://forums.digitalpoint.com/faq.php?faq=signatures#faq_signature_requirements .
Thanks for this.... I did not know of this new rule change till now. This is a great rule. Guess the bidding will still continue on siggie links and get little higher.
no idea. I don't think having 2 links is any different from having 4 links. members who make stupid posts to gain benefits from signatures would still keep posting...may be they will post even more now....
Lots of spam mostly. We had talked about just making them all nofollow (but we decided against it). If people *must* have 4 links (for whatever reason), it's one of the bonuses of premium membership now.
This is not good.. atleast for some good posters it should have changed.. like for 1000+ posters it should have been the same..
I agree with this, could see a rise in people posting links in their forum posts now as they can't fit all their sites into their signatures.
Lol... I was not aware of this rule. When was this implemented? It has come as a surprise to me. I had already committed links for around 3 months. Now, would have to make adjustments.
then users would start making all sorts of stupid and low quality posts to reach the figure of 1000 posts....
I think those who had sold all the four signatures for a long term would find it difficult to cope with the sudden change in the rule. With the reduction in number of signature, the value of the link should sure go up.
I will never sell my signatures. If I want, I can sell the signature only after upgrading my membership into premium.
