    ive been using linux for over a year now.. and am very happy with it... if offers me better eye candy then vista btw, and its not so damn slow..

    At the moment i am happy with XP but once i get a job, i want the latest and best so i will probably get a new desktop with vista pre-loaded :)

    Ubunto goes like this, it does not get installed on latest pc's has problem with Dual Core 1 as well as Core Duo 2.
    And Vista is easily Installable on these systems for that matter any hardware with 1ghz processor and 512mb ram ;) and use ur pen drive as ram ;)

    i heard that it works slow on most of the pcs.

    my specs are:

    1.7 intel original
    768mb Ram
    Gigabyte board
    nVidia 128mb GC.


    will it work fine on my pc? what do you think guys?
