What I have read in a post of Latest Technology News is that a Microsoft Zune phone rumored to be on work? So if your an Apple iPhone user, are you excited for a Zune Phone? And what your expectations for the Zune Phone? Just copy to your browser: topofthebest.blogspot.com/2008/12/are-you-excited-for-microsoft-zune.html
Well its still rumored, and like you I'm excited. It will really bring colors to the Apple - Microsoft rivalry.
Zune is still around?! I know Microsoft was losing all kinds of money because no one bought the thing but now they're thinking of bringing out a phone? Zune is a dead product. No one cares.
Not something that particularly excites me. Another new mobile phone, great just what we need. As if there isn't loads of new supposedly better phones released every month anyway. If it was something really innovative, maybe it would be exciting, but its just another company trying to play catch up in the mobile phone industry and most likely will just cost them money and be a disappointment.
If you read the article, its just a rumor, and I wouldn't doubt Microsoft trying to make a phone soon.. Wouldn't surprise me one bit.
what won't microsoft copy? i wonder if apple would make a wall calendar, would microsoft make a wall calendar too?
Yes, but microsoft's wall callendar will come as standard with a microsoft house and would be on the wall by default. Although you can use other wall calendars, you will still be stuck with microsofts one as well, because if you remove it will cause all sorts of problems with your house.
I doubt they'll make one. It's a possibility I supposed but why would they draw competition away from their partners. I doubt anyone who uses the Windows Mobile OS would be very happy if MS made a Phone.
More interested in the new Palm Pre that is coming out. Looks really nice. Currently using an HTC Touch Pro.
from the article at http://tech.yahoo.com/blogs/patterson/33267 "Speculation about the Zune spiked after this Financial Times story, in which Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer says that we "should not anticipate" a Zune phone (no, really?) and that Redmond (as the FT paraphrases) "would stick to its strategy of developing software to support a range of mobile devices."
