Hi Are you doing your part to save the planet? One for me is that I no longer keep equipment on standby
Well, I am also trying my best to keep Mars safe. As we will have to go there in 2012. So, I am already there and making it suitable for other organisms. - Digital -
Yep, we are using energy saving light bulbs all around the house and we recycle. We shut all lights off in the house when not in a room, unplug anything not in use. Water saving shower head and faucets as well. We also make compost for our garden.
No I'm not. I hate how people are trying to lay the guilt on the people occupying the planet right now. This problem has been tumbling along for hundreds of years, it hasn't just crept up on us in the last two years or so. Just like those charity adverts on TV "Look at this poor little girl, starving and dying, if you don't send us £2 a month then it is your fault if she dies you heartless bastard!" The planet is beyond help now, it will make no difference how much we recycle.
i fucking hate those adverts but i am generous with charity (10% of all my profit). it was hotter on earth in the middle ages, its warming process is one big cycle.
No, GOD will keep the earth until the revelation and there is no way we can destroy it, and when everyone has heard the teachings of JESUS, we will all be gone from the earth and the earth will melt DON'T WORSHIP THE CREATION, WORSHIP THE CREATOR AND OUR SAVIOR, JESUS when all the gas runs out, ALL WE GOTTA DO IS USE ALTERNATIVE ENERGY
its enough to save earth which is in daner of global warming. we al unite together to tackle the problem we should take concret step in this direction .then only we can save our planet.
I switch off lights and turn down my pc / laptop whenever it is not in use. Thereby, saving precious energy and saving mother earth
i like to plant trees and recycle as much as possible. But I do agree with Dean_Saliba, we pretty are pretty much closer to the point of hopelessness on saving the Earth
more on planting trees & vegetables at the backyard every weekends Fresh air and refreshing environment
I'm glad someone said it. If I thought it would really make a difference to switch off things rather than leave them on standby, and buy the re-usable shopping bags belive me I would. But the fact is, it will make no difference whatsoever. And before everyone pipes up with "that's why it doesn't work, because everyone has that attitude", people have that attitude because it really doesn't make a difference. The day the stars stop flying everywhere in private jets is the day i buy a cloth bag
I do recycling sometime and have a compost pit at home. I think it's been a help in saving our planet.
