Hey, This is random but I was just interested to know how many people are diabetic on here, I am a type one diabetic myself so it will be intriguing to see how many of you also have diabetes. P.S If you are not too busy I would really appreciate some support on my diabetes forum I am running. I need a biscuit, having a low . . . lol but the low is what made me think of writing this.
Given the response to this thread, I think dp is devoid of diabetics since most of the members are young or they just don't want them to be branded as diabetics. Of course, I am not a diabetic and I am doing my bit of exercise and yoga to keep the diabetics at bay
Not anymore..believe it or not I used to be. Until I had a pit tumor removed and now my pancreas processes insulin properly.
Yes, I am definitely serious. Diagnosed with type 2 diabetes while at work for T-mobile in Fl, 2002. Finally realized what was going on too late and almost went into a diabetic coma. Could not appease thirst. Blood sugar was "960" before hospital emergency room visit finally turned into a week long stay to get my body back in balance. was rushed to ICU to get sugar out of my blood. Doc told me later that had I waited 1 more day, I could have died by my blood turning to pure acid..not good for the heart.
