When i was younger there was no argument. You baptised your children. These days i think they call it a naming ceremony.
What is the ritual in other religions?

I've been baptized more then once... All were before I was 16 I think...

When I get to parenthood, I'm not going to force a religion onto the kids... I think it's best to let everyone make up their own mind...

Well the funny thing is my parents chose to baptize my sister (1st child) then when my brother's and I was born decided it is up to us to choose our own faith/religion. Unsure why, maybe they lost faith in there own beliefs and decided not to push us into something that they don't believe in anymore or that they now question..

    Who knows!

I was baptized when I was 3, yet I haven't been to church in years. A lot of good that did me.

Not really at first I was considering catholic then I read the quran and thought hang on and then looked in to others and in the end decided they all have good points so I will take a little from each and see where that gets me for now, personally I know there is something beyond us but just haven't decided what...
