I have grave concerns about Google's behaviour.

Just out of curiosity, do you often post without reading the rest of the thread?

Don't know about "anti-google", but I AM becoming "non-Google." I've been workin' pretty hard on pushing my site the past few months...a future PR prediction tool says my next PR should be 5 (up from 0). But still link:www.mysite.com shows zero back-links. While Yahoo shows 538 :D

I've got a white PR toolbar, so I'm not banned. Maybe a penality, maybe in sandbox? I don't know...I DONT CARE!

I'm building my backlinks regardless of Google (period). At least the backlinks generate traffic, and Yahoo likes me...so there!

Google needs to pull their head outta their "Google"...and soon. My Adwords account is sooooo close to me dropping it and going with MSN as it is.

Anyway, I'll wait for next PR update. Google better dish out some nice PR (at least 4) for my site, or I'm going with msn ppc!

Google seems to have too much control over the net in general. They're not that bad, but too much control is never a good thing.

Thats because they are the biggest search engine and must control each website just to make www in the proper order. On other hand "Google is the law"

I would much prefer it if the search engine market was split up into 4-5 big search engines with 20-25% market share, would be easier to guarantee next months mortgage payment.

The facts are that Yahoo search is non consistent and MSN is crap. As far as Ad networks, the situation is similar.
Google is no doubt the best available by far.

No, but unless Google would rollback its database and getting in Google's index would be harder.

It's a true fact that "to search" has become "to google" regardless of what many say. And we have to live with that or.. or what, we can't do anything about it either.

In don't dislike them. But, I always keep in mind that they are a business, and what's good for them isn't necessarily good for me (specifically thinking of my AdWords campaigns here).
