I Hate The Ppl Who Say I Dont Do Any Think Rong So I Have Nuthin To Hide Its Like Arrrrrrrrrrrrrr Thats Not The Point
like the article written,i like yahoo too, but what shall i do, google has given money for living with adsense that any other hasn't given internationally .So i'm not anti yet.
Personally, I love google and yet I am incredibly scared of it at the same time... It is a great resource and without it the web just wouldn't really be the same, however having said that their privacy policys are slightly disturbing at best. The amount of power google has is incredible. For example if google turned round tommorow, and said "in order to continue using this service, pay us a one-off fee of £5", nearly everyone would pay it, as everyone uses google. So no, at the moment I'm not anti-google, however I am slightly scared of the power google has. Diarmuid
yes...but I am way pro the traffic they send me so I bow and kiss Google but 8 times a day. No one company should have this sort of control on business online. I though Microsoft was bad...LOL
No, that guy only mildly dislikes Google. If you want to see someone who hates Google, then you need to visit Gevil.org: -Michael
I don't have any problems with google, and i don' t think i ever will, maybe they track and watch us more than other companies but thats no big deal, and as for the toolbar i don t download toolbars full stop.
No problem with what's Google doing for me too. But it's anyway a good thing to have some people playing devil's advocate... we should always keep some attention to this kind of things.
I wouldn't say I hate Google, but I'd say I do have my apprehensions. Take Microsoft for example. With Microsoft, you know what you are getting. You know they do evil things sometimes, good things sometimes, etc. You know what you are getting with Microsoft, and you know you shouldn't expect anything more or less. Google seems like a closed box. You don't really know where they are going, what their plans are, whether they are going to end up doing something "evil" or not. They seem to be masked behind this "do no evil" banner, yet they have a huge amount of money and power (and an extremely large employee base of intelligent people). Corporations like Google and Microsoft exist to profit--in the end, that is their bottom line. As funny as it sounds, If I had to choose, I would say that I feel more comfortable with Microsoft than Google at present. EDIT: By the way, I stopped reading the article when I read this: "That's just plain UN-American (but then again, Google's founder Sergey doesn't sound very American either)." In my view, the writer lost all credibility at that point.
No animosity towards Google from me. They're just another company trying to maximize profits. That's the way the business world works. Google sends me a ton of traffic. Gotta like that!
Wow! I never had any idea it was really Google that planned and carried out the terrorist attacks on 9/11. Such a deep, involved conspiracy. I've never installed the Google Toolbar on any computer I've ever used. I just really don't like it - I'd rather have more real estate for my browser. Maybe I just never made the list, but the Google Goons never came to my door to shoot out my kneecaps, either. If you willingly give data about yourself to Google, then you really can't complain when they have data on you. Probably 80 % of the people who hate Google just need to get a job. It's not their data retention policy that brings them hatred, it's their war on spam and MFA sites. The people who do the most complaining about Google seem to be people who's AdSense account was shut down for cause. If people didn't see Google as a parent that owes them an allowance, an awful lot of people wouldn't hate them with such vengeance.
