    I try and block duplicate content on my forums by "Disallow:"ing all print pages, previous/next links and so on.

    That can't hurt, right?

    search engines dont like duplicate contents,
    some can escape but not all,
    to rank higher one can get vanish from search engine result pages by using duplicate contents.
    so cant take the risk.

    i'm sure that google will block most of them in future but it needs time to recognise it
