I think that being addicted to anything is wrong. And being addicted to anything on the Internet is twice as wrong in general. And about Twitter in particular, I don't even have an account there and I am not interested. Facebook is OK, LinkedIn is probably the most usefull, but Twitter is just losing time. Really, I admit it can be fun, but is completely uselessly spent time 99.9% of the cases. Is just the SMS fever from cell phones, moved 10 years later. Maybe I will make a Twitter account sometime, although I don't see why, but I won't 'twit' more than once a month, I can tell you that.
So, what's the point asking this question? I use twitter to promote my blogs or new posts and tell you what, I get almost 10% of my traffic from twitter and those who read my posts from twitter are the ones who spend more time on my site. You cannot say, for now, that twitter is useless or just a waste of time because you haven't tried it yourself yet. Surely, your curiosity was roused by people who spend some time tweeting what they're reading about or replying to some tweets from their friends, and you being "left behind" by "twitter wave" couldn't relate. And I'm sure you want to know the advantage of using Twitter that's why you even spend some time posting this thread.
Though I'm not addicted to twitter as I love Facebook much more. But certainly I use twitter as one of my online business promotion method.
I've only used Twitter a few times, I didn't really like it lol My addictions are affiliate marketing, chatting on forums, Facebook, and Youtube
Am using twitter from the past 3 years, still am not so much addicted to it. Am addicted to facebook more
