I've been a vegetarian since birth and you've got your facts wrong.

First, our intestine is about 8 times the length of our body, like herbivores.

Omnivores' are 4-6 times the length of their body. Why? Because meat cannot be in the digestive tract as long.

Because we take a longer time to digest food, meat is not meant for us (cause of COLON CANCER).

There are many more reasons I could point out but I don't have the time right now. If you really want to know the complete info, I'll post my school essays...:p

Humans have evolved as omnivores - that's the opinion of the entire scientific community. There's no ambiguity there - it's a fact. Go and read about evolution and the human diet. And I certainly don't need any science lessons from anyone here - trust me on that!

I am a veggie because my guts do not process meat very well at all. If I eat what is essentially the dead carcass of any sort of animal it ends up feeling like my guts are being ripped out and I'm spewing out both ends at the same time. There is far more to a vegetarian diet that just vegetables...there are far more alternatives for getting the protein needed by our bodies. Better, more digestible and completely absorbable ways than sucking down something dead and, for all intents and purposes, rotting.

Yes humans have evolved but that's because people started to eat meat. The body will obviously adapt to various conditions.

You can eat other humans but you don't right? Well the same applies to meat - just because you CAN doesn't mean you NEED to.

I'm not saying eating meat is wrong, I'm just trying to show you that your point is wrong.

They are a part of nature... They ARE omnivores. Canine teeth, smaller intestines, claws, saliva with digestive enzymes.

How many of those do we have? Zero.

Here is my closing point since some of you think you're so smart.

What omnivore on earth COOKS their meat? Tell me... none at all.

Why, because they are NATURAL omnivores.

Humans COOK their meat because the body can't handle it raw - we're simply not omnivores. Point made and closed.

    I am an angel.
I go to church, I trust.

have I told you I also read bible and follow His words?

    Genesis 1:28
"And God blessed them: and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth."

you see to be fruitful and multiply, energy is required. Veges alone may be fine however to replenish the earth forever, healthy offsrpings are required as well. How can we get? Vitamins. Vitamins A-Z.

    Vege + Meat + Fruits :)
