    People within the industry know the adwords professional badge is fairly easy to get.

    Adwords certification is to impress clients. If you spend enough to take the exam, do it immediately.

    If you walked into a mechanics shop and they had an industry certification on their wall and then the next one didn't, your gonna wonder what's up right? The more certifications available to an industry the less trust consumers have in them.

    Currently there is only 1 certification program from Google. So it's trusted.

    nope and i don't care to be. i have some friends who are experts, but i would not want to do what they have to do on a regular basis to keep up with it, maybe someday i'll find myself with enough time to make it profitable, but as it stands i am very happy without having to use it.
