    Howdy,

If you are a clickbank publisher of an ebook, I would love to hear about your experience. How big is a typical ebook, pricing, affiliate share, etc... How long and has it worked out for you?

Great of you to be taking initiative :) I always said that the best way to learn how to market with affiliate programs is to launch your own product. It doesn't matter what type though ebooks are the norm, if you can successfully attract heavy hitter affiliates to promote for you - ANALYZE & DOCUMENT THEM to the nth degree. The longer and more in depth you make it, the less refunds you'll have. Here is a tidbit from my experience so far (3 digital products and over 50 servicing offers).

    1. If your product is going to retail for under $50, give affiliates 75%, it's just free money, and money you wouldn't have promoting by yourself, you'll need to do this on smaller priced items to make affiliates comfortable with making XX per sale.

    2. Pricing is a biggie :) Really depends on the niche, deliverables, etc. I'd recommend not writing 1 ebook if you plan to go with anything more than $27.

    3. Include Bonuses and when they pay, give them more non-advertised bonuses to avoid/minimize refunds.

    4. Your product lifecycle (considering you're going to make it the best ebook ever, not just an overnighter and sales page) could be as long as few years, or more if you version it :)

Hope this helps, I have a product launching soon that is relevant to this, and will PM you when ready if you'd like to learn more...

    Best of luck with biz.

I am a clickbank publisher, my product is a trivia quiz question niche, namely 1,700 difficult trivia quiz questions and answers for $12.95. It has been on the marketplace since 22nd of June 2007.

I had a lower price in the past ($7) but I believe that at that price, not so many people trusted the quality of the product. Now at the higher price, that is still a bargain for so many questions and they are selling quite well. Every day a sale, often four or five a day - which is not bad for the niche. At the previous lower price, I had been receiving a cheque every month for over $250. Soon I plan to increase this minimum cheque amount to the next tier.

Nobody has requested a refund or reported a false question/answer, which is something I am pretty proud of. A few people have told me the sales page is too short and some say it's too long and too Americanised. I guess you can't please everyone at the same time!

I have some bonus items which also currently includes 10,000 bonus pub quiz questions and answers, and a couple of EBooks.

I give 60% commission ($7.77) on every sale via clickbank. Quite a few affiliates have made sales for the product, one in particular sells around five or six a week, without paying for advertising.

    Clickbank ID is viewnow

    Sales page is at http://www.chancetolearn.com

    hi,

i really love quizzes! your product seen cool and i would like to start promoting it if you can guide me on what type of keywords are landing your sales in your niche?

i know the question sound strange but since you are the publisher it shouldnt be a problem, and would help a lot since the quizes niche is full of free sources.

    Regards

Clickbank is very great for advertisers but for that you have some good site to get it approved by the admin then only revenue could be earned! I'm not not a publisher here but in coming days surely would join it..
