Are Xomba.com and Helium.com similar to Squidoo?

Has anyone used Xomba.com or Helium.com for linkbuilding? Can they be used in the same way as Squidoo?

I have not personally used them but i have seen them before. They are good for earning bucks but i do not think they are good option for promoting your site/product or link building. Squidoo and hubpages are quite different from tehse sites although all of them are content based!

 

Helium requires a lot of participation in their community to really get the most advantage from it and I don't think it is really worth the time. You are better off with Squidoo and Hubpages. Xomba I'm actually not familiar with, I will have to check it out

 

I think Squdoo better than these websites.

 

Helium isn't much good for link building because all their links are no-follow.

I don't know about Xomba.

 

Squidoo, Hubpages and Blogger = best for getting backlinks and getting "noticed"
