really? im not sure if thats entirely true. there are alot of high ranking sites that keep theyre PR over the upgrades.

and sharing the PR doesnt matter. or does it? the PR still counts towards your site after google peeks in.

No word cloud website is able to sustain itself over the long-run. It's a flawed business model that has limits. Each and every word cloud directory (not counting alive and a few others) was once an expired domain with PR. After each update, there is no way for them to maintain that high PR, and they drop.

As far as sharing PR goes...I am surprised that you didn't know about it with 800+ posts. The more links you have on a page, the more value is being diluted. It also doesn't help when there is almost no text (only href's) and a Viagra /Cialis link right next to yours.

Ya...it's really interesting if you watch how they progress. They'll put up an advertisement on a Monday and the entire site will be on sale by the end of the week.

    Hi, All!

Are word cloud links of any value? Since, Google is/was disregarding link value of paid links I was wondering if these links are of any value at all.

    Thanks,
    Joe

Honestly, I have never really liked word cloud sites or having a link on word cloud sites. You can hear my opinion about word cloud links on my blog if you care.

I don't know for sure to be honest. Hard to believe they have any value. For there is no content. Just a bunch of links in an unorganized fashion....They may have some value if listed in a few hundred or so much like a forum link....Hard to say with Google..

When you have 200 links on a page its obvious that the value are limited.
