Are website owners still "in love" with PLR content...or not so much?

    Hello :)

I was thinking about writing some PLR packs...but I'll admit I'm trying to get a better handle on if there is actually a market for them. I'd prefer to do 10 articles to each pack at 500 plus words, and that's a fair amount of work to put in to something that "might" work out.

What are people's thoughts...do website owners still seem to be as "in love" with PLR as they once were? Are they using it? I don't hear PLR mentioned as much -- but I'm wondering if I'm just not privy to the right conversations.

    :) Abby

I'm wondering about this also. I've been thinking about getting started in PLR for a few months now, but can't decide if it's worth my time.

It's not as trendy as it used to be. My PLR sales have slowed the past few months.

Then again, I sell to a specific niche (personal finance) and I haven't really put any thought into the decrease in sales. I'd like to know what other PLR writers are seeing.

I do purchase new PLR contents every month. Easy money can be made from PLR.

The only problem that I see when people buying PLR contents is they will use it as it is. If they buy PLR articles, they just use it as articles.

Lot of thing can be done with this PLR contents. One is turn it into an ebook, an audio book or use it as a newsletter. This thing can avoid the duplication issue that most people faces.

PLR stands for Private Label Rights where you will receive the rights to do anything with the articles. You can edit it, sell it, turn it into an ebook and a lots more. Just imagine like you're the owner of the articles itself. You can do anything with it right? ;)

But PLR license are vary from each other. Some seller do have restriction to their articles. Be sure to check the license first before you do anything with the articles.

    Hope thats help.

You can't do anything with the articles. They can't be submitted to article directories because it's duplicate content.

Yes you can in some cases. You just need to find a good PLR provider for that. I have purchase PLR articles that are only use by myself. Seems a lucky part on my side though.;)

Probably a new PLR content provider. This just means you were the first to buy the articles.

You can do lots of things with PLR articles. Post them on your website. Sell them if you have resale rights. Give them away as freebies if the rights let you. Put them in a newsletter. Make an ebook or ereport out of them. Put them in your direct mailings.

I found this list of 101 things to do with PLR articles.

My point was they won't be accepted in article directories as they don't accept duplicate content.

There's lots that can be done with them if used creatively.

As for PLR to be rewritten for niche sites - most people don't take full advantage of that. Some site owners don't want to or can't rewrite them on their own, can't afford or don't want to pay to have them rewritten to a certain standard... so they just end being another crap article.

They are usually cheap, but to have them even "re-written" to be a good, readable, informative article... would cost about as much as having unique one created.
