The question should be freedom, which we are not according to your god. If I don't follow him I will what... how did you put it.... oh thats right.... BURN FOR ETERNITY IN HELL, such a loving god.

your post has nothing to do with free will, the question is targeted to those who believe in the bible. Not athiest.

freewill is obviously a concept your do not understand

if you want to change the question start your own thread

As far as to the bible, i think the answer might be yes.

    Matthew 7:21
I think that implies free will.

Perhaps, but thats not nessesarily impling all have free will. The bible mentions his elect, and it is my belief only his elect will come to God. Elect meaning specifically chosen by God. And that the rest are here to do satans will, as we will find in 2 timothy

Does anyone else see the insanity of claiming all of the following to be true?
    1. We have free will
    2. god performs miracles
    3. god has a plan for each of us

Say i want to kill someone, But as i pull the gun they start praying, god listens and grants their prayer, the bullet is taken off course and misses them. Hasn't god infringed on my free will? My will was to kill them, but a prayer was answered and god stepped in.

So, as you can see, free will and miracles are incompatible. Both can't be true at the same time. And if you add the claim that god has a "plan" for us the whole thing becomes entirely farcical.

And if miracles are true and we don't have free will why are we given rules we are powerless to abide by? if god has a "plan" for us we can't have free will.

if we look at it logically the whole thing collapses in on it's self and falls to the ground. the very notion of god and his capabilities contradict themselves to the extent of proving the whole thing false. These claims can't all be true

reading does not equal understanding, without the guidance from god, you couldn't possibly interpret it correctly

People choose what to do, but not everyone reads the bible, as not everyone is christian.

We have free will to do what we want, we can leave or join religions.

But....with free will comes the consequences. If you feel depressed all the time, and do nothing, you will become depressed.

If you work too hard, you will push yourself too hard and it will cause you to overload and become stressed.

Look you have proven in many other threads that you do not understand the bible, i kindly ask you to step out of this, so i can at least debate with believers. I'm not even really looking for a debate but clarification on my own belief.

Unfortunately, For you, this is a public forum in which anybody can comment.
I suggest if you only want to discuss the topic with people who agree with you try doing what religion has always done, Build a building and invite only those who nod in agreement to everything you say.

I expected nothing less. Would you read my last reply, im not looking for people to agree with me, im looking for those that do not, so i can clarify my own belief.

But i will not accept oppinions in this matter, from an unbeliever. So be rude, bash my faith i dont care.

Wow, this is an ignorant thing to say. Do you realize most non-believers as you put them were usually VERY religious at one point?

The bible does not bring you to God. You dont read the bible and then become saved. Reading of the bible usually comes afterwords, The only ignorance is that which you hold towards my faith. You think you have it figured out, when you havent scratched the surface.

Your religion as I've stated before has committed the most horrible crimes, murders and massacres in history, with 99% of the "believers" behind them.
