For example, if "Protected SEM Bidding Keywords" were to list "coke" as protected and not offer any further clarification does that mean I am restricted to bidding on any keyword that contains "coke" such as "buy coke" or does it only mean I can't bid on the single word keyword "coke"?
When the advertiser states that you can not bid on certain trademarked terms, it also includes all variations. Therefore phrases like "buy coke" would not be allowed if Coke did not give you permission.
i think the keywords that are protected, that doesn't mean that all the phrases are also protected. i think you can use the key word phrases. i am not sure but its an usual matter. if the phrases are also banned that means you can't campaign with that keyword. how it is possible?
Do you guys realize how easy it would be to sell a product if you were allowed to bid on the product name? Why waste money bidding on huge lists of semi-related keywords, when you could just bid on the trademarked terms. It's simply not allowed.
