Are Vendors allowed to Run Contests?

    Do you all know if Clickbank vendors are allowed to run contests, for example first affiliate to sell 30, gets a $ bonus, or something like that?

    Of course, many vendors hold bonuses and contests like this, for example one of the energy vendors started giving out bonuses like $3 extra per sale for affs making 200+ sales per month. Another guy was giving out laptops and what-not, so it's totally fine to give your affiliates something special for the effort.

    i think i read that its against clickbank policy to give out cash bonuses in connection with a clickbank sale?

    I think your thinking of rebates which is against clickbank TOS.....

    Yes thats right:


    Rebates - You tell the buyers that if they buy from you you will give them a cash bonus (part of the commission) - Against Clickbank TOS


    Contests - Give Cash bonuses to Affiliates to encourage them to market your product - More than Good for Clickbank.


    While rebates are not that much etical, affiliates contests are a good way to reward your affiliates for their work which is a real good practice.
