I have some old sites, and now I get started a new one. Are using of free meta submission tools is useful ? Is this useful for old sites or the results of using meta submission in search engines and directories will decrease theirs position ? And for new blogs and sites ? Are paid services better than free? And how many money are normal to pay for search engine and directory submissions ? You actually do not need search engine submission, they will crawl your site anyways. For the rest you could get somebody help you.
To edit the meta tags, look at http://open-site.org/Computers/Internet/Promotion for some examples. Site submission is no longer needed, but there are links there to submit your sit to the top 3.
i don't mean meta tags, i mean meta submission like massive submission ( over 100 search engines and directories)
