Do your research online, do your interrogating/negotiating/complaining/lying to the face of a real estate agent. Obviously before purchasing any parcel of land, get yourself over there and first try to get a look of the land without an agent so you can already have things to speak poorly about to drive that ridiculous market price of real estate down. After you've done some of your own research, talk to the agent representing that property and be ready to call him/her on all her lies and hyperboles. This will make the agents get very humble very quickly and eventually will cave into YOUR demands
