    "bye for now"

    I have seen 3 people saying like this to me on msn.

    "Bye" is a shortened form of "good bye" and good bye is the shortened version of "God be with you"

    Nope..You can say You say 'Bye for now' when you leave somebody.similar to 'See you soon'

    Yea, I think I know its correct grammar, but when I chat with someone who have been using wrong english all the time and when he/she say "bye for now", its kinda look weired to me.It was a business talk and a very short talk and I find its not correct.

    I think saying "bye" is better than saying "bye for now:eek:".

    My friend insisted me to say like this during chatting

    some people may think bye means leaving indefinitely!:confused:

    LOlz, i use this word , regularly while chating with friends and cilents. I feel good by using these words than iam leaving, or any others like this.

    i haven't used this so far.
    Do not expect others will talk to you grammatically. you can speak/write grammatically. but other may not. So, if you don't like it, then do not use it. :D
