    Actually through twitter you can share your tweets like facebook or any other social sites so it has important role in seo for google.....you can promote your link and your feelings too....in my opinion....

    It helps with Google SEO but I don't think it does that much.. I get very few traffics from twitter to my site.

    Google does use Twitter as link juices for SERPs.

    When I use Wordtracker link building tool (one of the top 10 SEO Tools in the world, even Danny Sullivan (SEO Master) would recommend it), Google does count twitter as backlinks even links are nofollow. The site I analyse is Bruce Clay (One of the Top 10 SEO companies in the World). Bruce Clay has the highest quality backlinks from Twitter.

    It depends on how you use it. If you build genuine relationship, Google will use it, if you spam, sorry....

    Yes, Twitter is considered as one of ranking factor on Google especially. If your website or blog has a strong presence on Twitter, that will work as a positive vote for your website when Google calculates your website rankings
