Are traffic estimate tools accurate?

    I just suggest don't rely on single tools, check with few widely popular tools and analyze through average traffic estimate.

    Just like Alexa, these tools can only give an estimate and not actual values, so I wouldn't consider them accurate.

    I use to think it at least got it in the ballpark. Not any more.

    Examples:
    It says that John Chow and Shoemoney has over a million and a half hits. They say that they get around 190,000. Last month, Chow said, I think, 180,000.

    Oh well.

    They are never very accurate, but can give you some idea. I think Compete makes good estimates.
