So I run a gaming blog, and I was wondering if I submitted my website to a topsite, would that be like a link farm. If you've never heard of a topsite, you can check an example one here: http://mu.top-site-list.com/ (scroll down to see a list of the 'top' websites in this genre). Basically, I've ran out of blogs that I can comment on in terms of link building in my niche, and I have topsites like these last... I've exchanged links with one website, but that's all. Are all topsites 'link farms'? Does it hurt me to link from me to them? Is this a regular way to link build? Thanks a lot!
I wouldn't wast my time on "top sites" go for article and link directories if you want to go that route
