I'm interesting in buying new links and I think the websites below are much cheaper than the other "big" websites offering text link advertising. TNX.net ask2link.com textlinks.com And here are my questions: 1. Are these websites worth the money ? 2. Can I expect any increase in search engine rankings ? (Maybe tell us your own ranking improvements) 3. Can these services hurt the rankings of my websites ? 4. Any text link website you can recommend ?
tnx still works - I just tested it a few weeks back. Rankings went up a few places (on first page of Google) but as I was just doing some testing to see whether it worked I didn't really go after anything too competitive. If detected, paid links can get you into a spot of bother, although normally this only results in the paid links being discounted (so you end up paying for links that don't actually help). Odds are though that if you don't go over the top with paid links and don't make it too obvious you probably won't be caught, but there is certainly some risk at least.
Indeed check each site carefully. I prefer 10-20 PR3/4 sites thatn the tons of PR0-1 they offer. Easier to monitor 20 and cherry pick good sites them have 10.000 links and get detected
