Are thread dupes allowed?

    Good morning friends.

    If I see a thread started by someone who is asking exactly what I would like to ask, shall I go ahead and open a thread of my own or I can reply in his? I ask because to avoid a dupe I did so in showthread.php?t=1385185 and apparently got banned.

    If they're asking exactly what you would like to ask why would you need to open a new thread, since they've already asked what you would like to ask.

    In this instance, yes a new thread would be needed cause you're asking for a service.
