Hey... Check out this site http://www.megaupload.com/ They have both adsense and YPN on the same page... Very nicely aligned I think they are definitely violating both adsense and YPN.... But I've never seen this big site violating this very easy and well known TOS... I saw some small sites having both ads but Look at them.... Their Alexa ranking is 576, eventhough everyone says Alexa isn't reliable source, that's not something someone can manipulate...right?? and I searched DP and found out they have bad history...Displaying Adsense in popups..http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=21637&highlight=megaupload How come google still let them serve ads?? Google looses TOS to big sites??
Right next to Adsense Are they showing both to only certain range of IP or something?? I checked again and I'm seeing them... and I'm also seeing Adbrite in the popup and at the top!! Here is screenshot... from my PC http://www.southimage.com/images/21260174.gif
Yepp that is a clear Violation of TOS. they are using geotargeting. because I am seeing Friendsfinder ad instead of YPN. I wonder how come big sites like this always manage to escape from TOS violation. these site make those n00bs, who come here and post "Adsense banned me last night/this morning" look like innocent kids.
Maybe google just ignore them because this site brings google lots of money... and googe don't care about that some innocent kids.... If they are using Geo-targeting, shouldn't guy from google be seeing ads?? since I'm in California so as google... Maybe you, The Webmaster, can't see ads because your location is "Some Random Place on Earth"
I don't think they are premium publisher (I've never seen premium publisher with same usual ad formats that I can even publish)...and I don't think Premium publisher can publish both ads on same page....
Everyone knows Google's IPs ; it's easy enough to change the site for any IP in the range. Or it could be, as others have noticed, that Google just doesn't care.
At 576 they must be surely getting a lot of traffic. Just because they didnt change the formats doesnt mean they arent a premium publisher.
I mean I just don't think they are a premium publisher...and I thought Premium have different code structure.... but they have the same structure... like mine
I won't let the risk of neg rep hold back my opinion. In fact, what worries me is my income, not red rep on a forum. I see he's got 4 reds but it doesn't seem to bother him much, and it shouldn't bother him much.
Well if your income is actually a concern of yours, being so laissez-faire about violators is a contradiction. People violating the TOS ultimately impact all of our abilities to earn money. Perhaps you need a bit of practice in seeing the bigger picture.
