I just signed up with adsense yesterday. Just wondering if everything's running smoothly? Please don't point out how annoying this question is, lol. Page impressions: 507 Clicks: 1 Page CTR: 0.20% Page eCPM: $1.99 Estimated Earnings: $1.01 (I have that many page impressions because I advertised it from a youtube account with lots of subs) Also... what does Page eCPM mean? Aaand with my ads, do I need to do something manually to make specific ones show up, or will it automatically put up ads similar to what I blog about? Thanks. =)
Also, somehow I just got .01 cents added to today's daily earnings, but no more clicks? How did that happen? Thanks...
>>I just signed up with adsense yesterday Alright, It should take you about 1 week unit you find the best ad colors, the best sizes, placements and to find your heat spots. Then your CTR should go higher.
First question - Where did you get those traffics from? It does look suspicious for the very low CTR. This stats is not normal in my opinion.
@Sxperm @reapr. I've seen 0.07 or even 0.00 with about 2000 impressions. No matter what you do, how standing out or blended the ads are... You can't get high CTR. I have no justification for that, It all started when I got my new adsense account and everything have been as shitty as that. I don't know if some clicks are not calculated or what. So I just gave up and got used it! What do You think is an average CTR?
That is normal for youtube traffic, I direct a lot of traffic from youtube. Once you get some clicks then google charges the adwords customer for impressions, so you get a certain amount per 1,000 impressions.(CPM) This is because it is not necessarily your fault that the user did not click on the ads, the adwords customer should have made a better ad. So it is sort of a penalty.
CTR defo looks a little low. By the way, be careful posting Adsense stats. Google can be a little........funny about it!
Clicks are a bit low considering you received only 1 click from 507 views. It was a good one though! I wish I could get more than a dollar every time. Cheers -Kris
are some of these views your own ? is the site something that people are going to look at more pages = more views per person, you haven't said how many UV, this could be one or a couple or even your own views while adding and editing.
